Our Founder
Julia Foland, our FOUNDER + CREATIVE DIRECTOR, is a born + raised Alaskan with a professional degree in architecture from Cornell University.
She spent over a decade “Outside” studying in upstate NY, eastern Europe & Rome, practicing in Manhattan, and traveling extensively throughout Scandinavia before returning home to Alaska. She has an insatiable curiosity towards the built environment and the objects we use in our everyday.
Our Operatives*
*We assemble the ultimate Dream Team for each design challenge amongst a stacked deck of cards to play the perfect hand for each project.
We pull from an assembly of practitioners including Architects, Hoteliers, Investors, Graphic Designers, Photographers, Mathematicians, Artists, Urbanists, Scientists, Philosophers, Ninjas, and Builders. Their identity will be revealed on a project by project basis. Until then, know we reach far, we go deep + we dream big.

Because we think big, we embrace our remotely located talented friends. You have an equal chance to cross paths with our agents in a swanky bar in Manhattan as you do trekking through an Icelandic lava field.
Alaska truly is the best, but sometimes the best-in-class players live elsewhere. Our +Beyond operatives help bring different perspectives, additional expertise + fresh eyes to the table.
